LED Aluminum Profiles: Efficient, Protective and Durable
For long-lasting, safe and customized LED lighting solutions
Profiles for LED flexible strips are made of high-quality anodized aluminum (corrosion-free) and are offered in the standard product range with a length of 2 m. Special lengths up to 6 m on request. The corresponding profile covers are made of impact-resistant and flame-retardant polycarbonate and comply with UL94 V-2 flammability classification. They are available in:

IMPORTANT NOTE: Lighting elements consisting of LED flexible strips (including wiring and technology) and aluminum profiles (with covers) may only be used and operated in environments with moisture or water in sealed form.
Special protection is provided, among other things, by silicone, which is applied to seal joints and seams. Pay attention to the protection rating of the LED strip – at least IP65! Due to production and regular replacement of tools, all profile dimensions and cross-sections are subject to certain variations. Please always refer to the currently valid dimensions in our online shop or your order confirmation.
Profiles can be mounted on wooden battens/boards, drywall, masonry, concrete, tiles, stone, granite, marble, and of course on metal surfaces. Suitable mounting clips and profiles, as well as springs and cable suspensions (depending on the profile system) are listed in the product details.
For excellent adhesion of self-adhesive LED flexible strips, thorough cleaning of the profile surfaces is recommended. Professional cleaning agents and a selected range of sealing materials and adhesives can be found in the accessories.

Multi-stage full encapsulation process
To operate linear LED lighting concepts safely and reliably in wet areas, damp rooms, outdoors, and especially under water, at least IP67 protection must be ensured.
Absolutely waterproof
This absolute waterproofing is achieved by fully encapsulating the LED aluminum profiles with resin (PUR – polyurethane). In a unique process, liquid two-component PUR is precisely applied in six layers directly into the profile (for colored versions, 3-C-PUR, e.g., opal). Multi-stage application of heated resin prevents air bubbles, inclusions, and cracks.
Protection for chip and electronics
The resin covers the LED strip, wiring, and the entire interior of the profile, aligning flush with the top and side edges. The linear LED element is now sealed and completely waterproof. Additional benefits include protection of the LED chips and electronics, as well as reduction of mechanical stress on the aluminum profile.
